Personal World Map was developed to offer users a different perspective on the world. Instead of measuring distances in kilometres (or miles), it uses travel time and travel costs to indicate relative positions between places. These factors can provide a more meaningful sense of proximity than traditional geographical distance.

More information about the Personal World Map is available in the project's about section.

Personal World Map was my final project for the study Media Design at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam.
