Between 2016 and 2019, five Caribbean countries — Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago — conducted national surveys to measure the prevalence of gender-based violence.

I designed and developed the website and its interactive visualisations to present the results of these surveys in a clear and engaging way. The front page highlights the main findings and allows comparisons between the five countries. Each country has its own dedicated section, where users can navigate through the survey data. The visualisations are grouped by category, and users can select different types of violence to view related percentages and the total number of respondents.

The project sheds light on the prevalence of intimate partner violence and its connections to various factors and attitudes. By making these results accessible and comparable, the visualisations aim to draw attention to the most pressing issues and support the development of policies to improve the lives of women.
